the police clearance letters I put in
a Fedex box at 5pm
in North Carolina
arrived
in Oregon
15 hours later.
They were immediately
sent out again
to the Secretary of State
for Authentication.
The process can now continue!

That is awesome news. I am so excited for you and Delilah. BTW: As you may know next week is a holiday here. Even if the SOS had gotten the paperwork out early, nothing would happen in China or at the Chinese Embassy until after Oct 6th,so at least the US side can get their act together and the paperwork will then get to China after the public holiday. I know it is not much conciliation, but it is the best I can come up with. Everything happens just as it should and you will be here before you know it.
